Hey there,


Before you see my blog, 

I'd like to introduce you about me,

My name is. Inten Utari. 




I'm a non-stop world traveler since 2008 and I've been traveling since I was 2 years old out of my beloved home town, Bali island. As I mentioned, Bali, Indonesia, is my home town, I was born and raised in Bali since my childhood to my early adult.

I decided to follow my dream to travel the world. It's never been easy as an Indonesian traveler to follow this dream because our passport is one one the weakest passport in the world. That's why through this blog, I'd like to share my experience on the road, despite all the obstacles that I've been through to follow my dream. 

It might sound cliche, well, who doesn't like traveling. I'd like to quote Dalai Lama's wisdom saying "Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions.". As a conscious adult, I know what I want in my life and what I need, so if traveling makes me happy, then I'd do it.

Since I met my husband, a US citizen in 2011, I introduced him about traveling. We started from a local trip to  further trip to South East Asia, he became falling in love with traveling since then. We also change our style of traveling quite often, from a weekend trip only to a longer trip, from a digital nomad's style to a living as an expat, from a small backpack to a more settle down to a town that we liked. 

How do we manage to provide our traveling?

That's might be come up to your mind. 

The simple answer is we work online.

I think it's pretty common nowadays, our generation are more people tend to work remotely, so it's support our choice of life to live wherever we want, as long as we have internet connection. 

We've been travelled to almost continents in the world and we hope we'd visit Antarctica someday. 

We have have some places that we like, favorite food that we've tried, and in my personal opinion,  every places are beautiful and unique as the way they are.

It has been a couple weeks since I got my green card and moved to the United States of America.  My husband and I chose to move to Florida, the state where his residence is. Mazatlan, a beach town nearby hometown of narco traffic that is worth it to visit.

In the end of January 2021, during the pandemic and red status in Mexico City, the city that my husband and I live in, we felt like we wanted to go somewhere new in Mexico. My husband had an idea to visit our friends who live in Mazatlan, a beach town that is located in the state of Sinaloa.  Mazatlan beach When other people and I heard about Sinaloa, all of a sudden anything related to narco traffic popped into my head. Isn’t Sinaloa a dangerous place to go? I was like, tried to look up any information about this place. Yes, I did find there are restrictions and warnings about not visiting the state, but in contrast there are some blogs and vlogs that showed how safe to visit Mazatlan is, both by Mexicans or foreigners. I was surprised there are also many expats living in this beach town that is located in the northwest edge of the country. Beside that, two friends that we are going to visit are foreigners.
